Most kids will pick up a crayon and a piece of paper and start to create fun doodles at a very young age and if a child is lucky enough to take kids art classes, it's a good idea to know how that child will be introduced into more advanced artistic concepts. Most children will migrate from amorphous shapes to drawings that actually resemble real objects and this is quite normal. From the discovery of things like shapes a child will usually form an awareness of different colors and may start to incorporate those colors into new drawing projects.
